Travel concierge · Detroit, worldwide

Warm water, a good room, and nothing left for you to figure out.

We build the kind of trips people talk about for years. You show up rested. We handle everything else — the flights, the rooms, the tables, the driver who knows the back way.

01

Flights & upgrades

Routes that actually work, seats that actually recline, and the quiet call to the desk that gets you moved forward.

02

Lodging & suites

Rooms held at properties we've stood in personally, with the on-property relationships that make small requests possible.

03

Ground transfers

A driver holding a sign at the right door. Then again the next morning. Then again, until you leave.

04

Restaurant tables

The reservation you couldn't get, at the time you actually wanted it, with the dietary notes already sent ahead.

05

Group logistics

Manifests, rooming lists, dietary spreadsheets, and the emotional weather of forty adults sharing a bus.

06

Vendor vetting

Guides, boat captains, florists, photographers — no one goes on your itinerary we haven't put through our own filter.

07

Itinerary building

Days that breathe. A schedule with room for the long lunch that turns into an afternoon.

08

Live trip support

A number you can text at three in the morning. Someone answers. That someone knows your name.

Portrait of the founder

About

Detroit roots. Worldwide reach.

Dubson Events began the way most good things do — as a favor for a friend. A wedding weekend that needed a spine. Sixty guests, three time zones, one very unimpressed mother of the bride. Everything landed. Everyone came home telling the story.

Fifteen years later, we're still doing the same thing. A little more polished. A little more traveled. The philosophy hasn't budged.

"Travel should feel like it was planned by someone who actually likes you."

We're headquartered in Detroit — a city that quietly understands craftsmanship, understatement, and the value of a good handshake. Our trips have landed in sixty-two countries and counting. We answer our own phones. We stay small on purpose.

What we sell, if you have to call it something, is the absence of friction. What we actually do is quieter than that.

Laughing client
We landed at eleven at night, exhausted, and there was a car, and there was a driver who knew our name, and there was a note on the pillow with a plan for the morning that started at ten and involved pastries. I have never in my life felt more competently loved by strangers.

Packing philosophy

The case for owning fewer things, folded better. What we tell every first-time client the week before they leave, and why the good travelers we know pack the same nine items.

How we vet operators

A working glimpse at the filter every guide, driver, and property passes through before they touch your itinerary. It's less glamorous than it sounds. That's the point.

Reading before you go

The books, essays, and one strange podcast we send clients before major trips. A better arrival begins two months before the flight — usually with something written in 1958.
